Mongo Deco ('mongo' from the New York slang for "any discarded object that is retrieved") is the name for our approach to building and interior design.  All the materials and items we use to renovate or furnish a home or workspace have been reused in some way - salvaged on their way to the landfill, reclaimed from demolition, re-purposed from onsite, purchased secondhand, found on the side of the road, etc.  In cases where reuse is impossible or impractical, we choose materials with a balance between ecology and economy.

Our showhouse will be under renovation starting April 2007.
